The Limecraft File Overview provides detailed insights into the content stored in your Workspace. Use the powerful filtering options to drill down to the desired details. 



Before you begin

File Overview is part of the workspace settings, which can be accessed by admin users only. 


How to Use the File Overview?

The File Overview provides detailed information about all file instances within a specific Limecraft Workspace. You can use filters and column settings to drill down to the details you need. Explore clip details or material data using the action buttons. 



Accessing the File Overview

To access the File Overview, navigate to the Workspace Settings.

Using the Filters and Search

The powerful filters and search options allow you to drill down to the insights that you need.

Similar to the ‘on Flow’ fields, but for other locations. 

Note that using these locations is on the deprecation path. New configurations should use the new ‘Volume’ concept as much as possible.

  • id of the volume

  • timestamp the file was transfered to the volume

  • the status of the transfer of the file on this volume

  • the status of the verification of the transfered file on this volume



Clip nameThe name of the clip in Flow

Clip typeThe media type of the clip in Flow (Video, Audio, …)

CreatedWhen was the file created (from Flow perspective, so actually when was the MaterialObjectInstance pointing to the file created)

Creator idWho created the file (id of the user)

DeletedIs the file deleted?

FilenameName of the file

IdId of the MaterialObjectInstance

Last updatedWhen was the MaterialObjectInstance last updated

LocationFile path

Media object idId of the clip in Flow

SizeSize of the file (in bytes)

ZoneThis field is not used at the moment

md5MD5 checksum of the file

md5 verification statusStatus of the md5 check (verified or not verified)

md5PartialsMD5 checksum of the file’s first 10MB

Advanced filterAdd an advanced filter. Useful for filters for which there is no UI element, or for advanced queries.



View the Results


You have two options to view your selection further: navigate to the clip or view instance details.

Clicking on the 'View clip' option shows you the clip details.


View instance details option shows you the material details of the selection.

Manage the Overview Preferences

As an admin user, you have the control over which columns are shown in the overview. With the selector in the upper right corner, you can select which columns should be shown.
