Limecraft offers you a wide variety of methods to display and sort your media, including switching between a thumbnail or list view, as well as various ways to sort and group items.
Using an Overview of Thumbnails
View as thumbnail images option organises your files as a grid with a thumbnail and main metadata. The thumbnail can be automatically selected by Limecraft, or you can chose the thumbnail yourself.
More about selecting your own thumbnail here.
List View
View as list option organises your files in a list view with columns that display a selection of metadata.
Manage Columns Displayed in the List View
The list view can be customised according to which columns are displayed.
With the 'View as List' option selected, click the 'Column Visibility' icon. From the resulting pop-up window you can select which fields to include. The metadata elements shown in this window are configured in production settings>metadata.
You can also drag the table to have a view over which columns are visible.
The columns that you selected will be included if you make an export with the 'Export results' option.
Modifying the sort order
The sort function gives you the option to determine the sequence in which your files are ordered.
Grouping of clips
In case your workspace manages a large collection of items (several thousands or more), you may want to group items in the library. In this example, clips will be grouped according to the script (Episode, Scene, Shot).
As a result, clips will be hierarchically grouped.
Please note that group settings have to be pre-configured by authorised staff before it can be used.
