What’s the difference between import and ingest?

Ingest:

The method to process material you uploaded in Edge via import/backup, to Flow or a local drive.

Example 1: Send native material to Flow.
Example 2: Creating web proxies and sending them to Flow.
Example 3: Creating offline copies to a local drive and sending proxies to Flow.

Import:

The method to upload files in Edge without making a backup.
